Dima Bilan the 2006 and 2008 Russian representative is flying high these days in Russia. One of his latest songs Mechtateli ( The Dreamers) is currently charting at nr2 this week at the Russian music channel Russian Music Box. Dima Bilan is one of the most sought after Russian young singers both in Russia and neighbouring countries having won many prestigious awards at home and overseas. Dima Bilan gave Russia its very first Eurovision victory in 2008 with the song Believe, thus bringing Europe's favourite television show to Moscow in 2009.
