Between 5:30 a.m. and 6 a.m., while he’s alone at his gym/physical therapy office in Seekonk, “I begin with 10 to 15 minutes of back/hip stretches and a few core-strengthening exercises followed by weight-training programs, alternating upper body efforts on Mondays and Thursdays, concentrating on the lower body on Tuesdays and Fridays.

In his upper-body workout, he says he emphasizes “compound exercises performed alternating push/pull motions for symmetry and time efficiency.”
