'Harry Potter' Fans Gush Over 'Deathly Hallows, Part 2'

MTV News took to the streets to find out what viewers thought of the final installment of the epic film franchise, and the response was as overwhelmingly positive as the critics' .

"I feel like it was a worthy completion," said one fan, who was clad in a Gryffindor sweatshirt. "From the start it just grabs you by the neck and takes you along for the ride, and really for the last film, you can't ask for anything more."

His female friend agreed, saying, "It's really hard to say bye," before becoming choked up.

The tears were shared by both the male and female fans interviewed after the screenings of "Deathly Hallows, Part 2." It's a sentiment that even the "Harry Potter" stars felt , though leading man Daniel Radcliffe was glad to hear the movie got the fans choked up as well.

Favorite scenes in the film ranged from seeing Harry surrounded by all his loved ones to Neville Longbottom's epic scene with a certain snake. One girl in Slytherin garb said she was glad that the Weasleys didn't disappoint this time around, and particularly liked seeing Harry and his friends defending Hogwarts in the movie's final act.

"It was bittersweet to see it end because it encompassed so much of my life," one female fan shared with MTV. The man she was with agreed. "It was everything you could want to cap off, in our lifetime, one of the greatest film sagas ever that I've experienced," he said.

"It's not one of those things where I'm sad that it's ending, because I know it's not really going to end," another fan said. "But at the same time I know it's like closing the final chapter on my childhood."

I do agree with you. They locked them down in the Dungeon instead of escorting them out of the building... And I agree with the death scenes.. We got images of people dead, but that was it. When these people were his class mates. I think there should have been a bit more of them in the movie. Seeing what happened to them. Show the dead a bit more then they have. I found a picture of Padma Patil and Professor Trelawney infront of a dead women that you dont' see in the movie. You see them cover someone up saying there dead.. At first I though *** was Padma's twin, then I thought Lavender Brown. But its not... I dont know who the women is... Plus during the whole movie, they never mentioned that Lupin and Tonks were having a baby. We found out at the end when Harry was talking to Lupin. We gotta got the hint in the first movie but Mad Eye cut Tonks off from talking... Sooo we didn't see their son either... I wished we did. Harry was his god father and they left that out. I was upset by that... I think that would have meant the world to a lot of fans seeing how Harry's god father was Sirius Black... his dads other best friend...

Dumbledore is dead, Snape has taken over Hogwarts, and Voldemort is still at large. Only two of the seven Horcruxes have been destroyed. The gang has a long way to go. What the gang does not know yet is that Harry Potter himself is one of the Horcruxes. A piece of Voldemort’s evil soul is within him, and the only way to kill Voldemort is through death. That piece of Voldemort’s soul represents something ugly and sinful. When Harry Potter dies, a piece of Voldemort dies with him, and he awakens pure. It would appear that Harry Potter is the Christ figure with his death and resurrection. Instead, he represents a reformed sinner. The same thing happened to Harry as one giving his/her life to Christ. First, his current self dies, so the ugliness within him dies. Then, he is born again pure and free from the evil, just like a born again Christian is free from sin. All the while Voldemort looks for eternal life in the wrong places. He tries to achieve it by stealing the Resurrection Stone and Elder Wand, killing unicorns, and ripping apart his soul. He fails. He fails the same way one fails to achieve salvation by means other than the blood of Christ. Without Christ, your efforts for eternal life are spent in vain. Harry finds it and resurrects while Voldemort doesn’t find it and dies.
