Chris Berg's Caricature Blog: Alborz High School Reunion

Since I was very young I loved wasting my time reading Mad Magazine and drawing all of the characters. My mother told me I’d go blind reading that stuff. During College I worked my way through college over the summer at Jackson New Jersey’s Great Adventure Theme Park doing caricatures. In those days we drew profiles on transparencies using an overhead projector, so the crowd could see easier. I had a bright light in my face the whole time. I was paid .40 cents per drawing. Not a lot in those days, certainly, not a lot today. From those days on I typically only drew co-workers, at my day-job, who were retiring or leaving for another job. Recently I have expanded my “operation”, creating this blog, a website, and joining the International Society of Caricature Artists (ISCA). I hope you enjoy the work I created here.
